Managing Issues
Once an issue is created, you can update every aspect of it from the issue detail page. Open an issue by clicking its title in the project issue list.
Updating an Issue
All issue fields — title, description, type, status, priority, assignee, estimated date, and URL — can be edited inline on the issue detail page. Changes are saved immediately.
Status Workflow
Move issues through the workflow by updating the Status field:
Triage → Open → In Progress → Testing → Closed
There are no forced transitions — you can set any status at any time. Use the status field in the issue header or the quick-update controls in the issue list.
Comments
Comments allow team members to discuss an issue in context. To add a comment:
- Open the issue detail page.
- Scroll to the Comments section.
- Type your message in the composer. Supports rich text, code blocks, and @mentions.
- Click Comment.
Comments are available on plans that include the comments feature. Existing comments can be edited or deleted by their author.
Attachments
Files can be attached to any issue to provide additional context (screenshots, logs, design files). To attach a file:
- Open the issue detail page.
- Click Add Attachment or drag-and-drop a file onto the attachments area.
Attachments are stored securely and are accessible to all team members with project access.
Time Entries
If your plan supports time logging, you can record time spent on an issue:
- Open the issue detail page.
- Navigate to the Time section.
- Click Log Time and enter the duration.
The total time logged is displayed on the issue and rolled up at the project level. Time entries can be edited or deleted.
Tags
Apply tags to an issue to categorise or filter it. Tags are project-specific. To apply a tag:
- Open the issue detail page.
- Click the Tags field.
- Select one or more tags from the list.
Soft Delete & Restore
Deleting an issue soft-deletes it — the issue is hidden from the issue list but not permanently removed. To delete an issue, open it and use the Delete action in the issue menu.
Soft-deleted issues can be restored. To restore an issue, access it via its direct URL (reference codes remain valid for deleted issues) and click Restore.
Filtering & Searching the Issue List
The project issue list supports the following filters:
- All — every open issue in the project
- Assigned to me — issues assigned to the current user
- Created by me — issues created by the current user
- Status — filter by one or more statuses
- Priority — filter by priority level
- Assignee — filter by a specific team member
- Search — free-text search across issue titles
